Dearly departed heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will receive a tribute fit for the Prince of Darkness this fall, when Universal Studios unveils a new haunted house inspired by his career during Halloween Horror Nights.
During the annual Halloween event at Universal theme parks in Los Angeles and Orlando, visitors will have the chance to step into the twisted world of “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness.”
The haunted house is heavily inspired by the metal icon’s solo work, featuring nods to his famous songs and most outrageous moments in the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s career.

According to a news release from Universal, guests will board the Crazy Train for a trip through this “disturbing world,” which was developed as a “living horror movie through the lens of Halloween Horror Nights.”
Guests will be guided through the dark memorial with a soundtrack of Ozzy Osbourne’s solo music, including songs from 1980’s legendary “The Blizzard of Ozz” debut solo album, 1983’s “Bark at the Moon,” and the beloved and commercial mega-hit “No More Tears.”
“Ozzy Osbourne didn’t just help define heavy metal—he created a cultural phenomenon that has influenced generations of music, art and horror,” said John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. “Inspired by all 13 of his albums, guests will journey through the dark, surreal worlds that fueled his music and cemented his legacy as the one and only Prince of Darkness.”
In a statement from Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, and their son, Jack, the Osbournes promised that Universal has made a loving and fitting tribute to the hard rock superstar, who died last July at the age of 76 after battling Parkinson’s disease and other health challenges.
“Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries, and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created,” the Osbourne family said. “Halloween Horror Nights has done an incredible job bringing that spirit to life. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination.”
The Osbourne family hopes that fans of the Godfather of Heavy Metal enjoy experiencing the interactive memorial as much “as he would have had seeing it come together.”

In addition to the new Halloween Horror Nights experience, special “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” merchandise is available for purchase at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.
The limited-time merchandise includes a t-shirt and an Ozzy Osbourne acrylic figure, which is part of the “Infernal Carnival collectible display,” that features other cast and characters from Halloween Horror Nights.
The t-shirt and acrylic figure will be available for purchase online beginning Thursday, July 30.
When can fans experience Ozzy Osbourne at HHN?
Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort are available now. The Halloween Horror Nights Fear Pass, which includes repeat visits, comes with four different pass options.
The enhanced Scream Early add-on ticket gives guests admission to the parks at 2 p.m., with early access to select haunted houses before the event officially starts. Discounts are also available for annual and seasonal passholders, officials said.
In Los Angeles, theme park guests have a variety of ticket options, including general admission or the Universal Express ticket. Early access tickets grant entry to select haunted houses around 5:30 p.m., and other options include afternoon arrival times and special themed guided tours. Tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood are available now.
Both parks host Halloween Horror Nights on select days through Sunday, Nov. 1.
In addition to the new Ozzy Osbourne experience, Universal has promised a fresh slate of haunted houses and scare zones for 2026, including haunted houses inspired by the latest entry in the “Evil Dead” film franchise, the legendary horror series “Hellraiser,” Netflix streaming giant “Stranger Things,” and the Academy Award-winning vampire thriller “Sinners.”
A dedicated outdoor scare zone modeled after the annual video game event “Fortnitemares” will also make its debut this year.
