The iconic Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Burbank is getting a new super-powered resident: Superman.
Beginning later this month, visitors to the historic studio lot in Los Angeles County can experience an immersive exhibit that features 3D video, practical set pieces and audio-animatronics from the world of DC Studios’ most recognized character.
Beginning April 18, the Superman Experience: Defenders Unite will open to the public on Stage 5 of the Warner Bros. Studios lot in partnership with the Studio Tour.

Tour guests will join the Man of Steel on a mission to defend Metropolis, and get the chance to “unlock and hone their super powers, work as a team, and enjoy the illusion of flying alongside Superman through next-generation motion capture technology, active 3D glasses, and high-definition audio.”
The interactive experience features an original storyline penned exclusively for the attraction, inspired by James Gunn’s 2025 “Superman” film, with points of interest from the movie itself.
“Inside the Fortress of Solitude, guests are recruited by Superman himself and receive Kryptonian abilities to utilize in a critical mission. Through immersive technology, guests will simulate taking to the skies alongside Superman and visit various locations – including a training session on the Kent Farm with Krypto the Superdog – before joining Superman in an epic battle against DC Super-Villain, Darkseid. Earth’s fate hangs in balance and only you and your team of newly empowered superheroes can help Superman save humanity.
Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences
The experience will track each guest’s score to bring a little competition amongst visitors, and the central hub of the activation, themed as the icy Fortress of Solitude, will feature interactive mini games, props and photo-ops, including:
- A life-sized audio animatronic of Robot #4, aka Superman’s robot companion “Gary”
- A mini-game featuring super-powered mut Krypto in his Doghouse of Solitude
- A two-person puzzle game and other activities yet to be announced
Additionally, guests can find special Superman-themed snacks and beverages and make purchases from themed retail shops, including an exclusive comic book related to the attraction, “Superman: Defenders Unite,” written by Josh Trujillo with cover art by Bernard Chang.
“Superman Experience offers guests a unique experience to step into the world of DC’s storytelling in an incredibly fun and immersive way,” said Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood General Manager Danny Kahn. “This new attraction unites Global Experiences, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, and DC Studios, so fans can create memories while celebrating the world’s greatest Superhero.”
Opening later this month, the Superman Experience is a separate ticketed attraction from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, officials said. It can be purchased on its own or as an add-on to the tour.
Tickets can be purchased at supermanexperience.com, with ticket bundles and promo offers available.
